MCA Youth chief had threatened with legal action for linking PKR to ‘glam girls’ appearing on pornographic images.

KUALA LUMPUR: PKR Youth demanded an apology from MCA Youth over its claim that the former was involved in putting the faces of MCA ‘glam girls’ on pornographic images.

PKR Youth information chief Lee Khai Loon wants MCA Youth Chief Wee Ka Siong retract his statement linking him to these images.

“Without any strong proof, Wee made an irrational personal attack against me. Wee seems to show himself as a victim to gain public sympathy,” he said at the Parliament lobby today.

Lee was accompanied by Ampang MP Zuraida Kamaruddin and Batu MP Tian Chua.

Lee claimed that Wee was merely trying to shift criticism away from the recent MCA Annual General Meeting (AGM).

Yesterday, Wee said that the superimposed pictures appeared on the Suara Keadilan Malaysia blog after Lee had criticised the MCA Beliawanis division for the party’s ‘glam girls’.

At the time, Wee, who is also Deputy Education Minister, said there was a connection between PKR Youth and the images.

Publicity stunt

He also threatened to take up the matter with the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission over the matter.

Ten attractive girls appeared during the recent MCA Youth AGM on Oct 2, leading some parties to ask if their presence was a publicity stunt.

Questions were also raised as to whether these girls were genuine party members.

Speaking about the girls, Lee said that MCA was bereft of ideas and attacked the latter for not allowing the girls to be interviewed.

He also scoffed at the claim that the MCA glam girls came from the MCA Subang division.

“Beliawanis chief Tee Hooi Ling said that they came from the (MCA) Subang division, but Wee said they came from the Shah Alam division,” he said.

Lee gave Wee 24 hours to retract his statement, or face court action.
