Greeting for Thaipusam 2012

Thaipusam is a Hindu festival celebrated mostly by the Tamil community. The word Thaipusam is derived from the Tamil month name Thai and Pusam, which refers to a star that is at its highest point during the festival. The festival commemorates the occasion when Parvati gave Murugan a spear so he could vanquish the evil demon Soorapadman.

Thaipusam also a celebration of the day Lord Murugan, or Subramaniam or Kartikeya as he is also known, received the “Vel” or divine spear from his mother, Mariamman also known as Parvati, to kill the feared demon Soorapadman.

God has a reason for allowing things to happen
we may never understand his wisdom but we simply have to trust his will.
God bless you all the way.

May I wish all Hindu  a very joyous and holy

Alibaba Cyber Café
    21, Jalan 1B, Bt 17, Taman Jati, 48000 Rawang, Selangor
